Dr. Frank Rodriguez believes that oncology is getting better every day, thanks to the ongoing active research that continues to accelerate improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. He values the human connection that occurs between patients, physicians and their clinical care team, which combine to make Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute an effective cancer care center. Dr. Frank Rodriguez received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and served as Chief Resident at the Miami VA Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of South Florida H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Dr. Rodriguez is Board-certified in Medical Oncology/Hematology and Internal Medicine. He joined Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in 2008. Dr. Rodriguez is a strong advocate of clinical research and participates in the large array of trials that are available at FCS.
