In operation for more than 30 years, Urban League of Broward County offers a range of services for empowerment of community and the development of children. It administers several after-school care, employment and training programs. The organization offers homeownership and financial literacy services. Urban League of Broward County supports low-income group families, as well as provides treatment plans juvenile offenders. It organizes workshops to enhance parenting skills. The organization s community empowerment program helps to increase the awareness of health disparities. Urban League of Broward County also offers educational and career preparation services to youth between the ages of 18 and 24. It operates the National Achievers Society, as well as organizes educational and cultural field trips.
