Our product is not a natural habitat for insects, it will not float or wash away, it retains moisture, is a natural weed barrier, and it also releases heat which is very important in warmer climates. Tropical Shell is the green alternative to ground cover. Our product is a byproduct of Florida mining. All products are water based and non toxic. Our quarry is located in Central Florida with easy access to the entire country as well as overseas options. Tropical Shell is a safe product for the people and the environment. Endless hours and funds have been spent to develop the perfect formula for coloring and processing that is totally green, totally safe and allows us to create any color our customer desires.
