OIC of Broward County is a community-based organization that offers employment training and services for former prisoners and low-income individuals and families in Broward County, Fla. It provides re-entry programs to help individuals released from prisons. The organization offers BOOSTER, an employment-centered service that includes job training, placement, mentoring and support services. OIC of Broward County provides housing assistance services, as well as assists the victims of drug and alcohol abuse. Additionally, it offers Project Second Chance, an employment readiness training program that includes workshops related to resume writing, application completion, and life skills and self-esteem development.
