- BMOW serves over 10,000 clients throughout Broward County annually We serve every community in Broward County BMOW provides over 1.2 million meals annually Our Social Work staff conducts 2,400 in home assessments annually We rely on 600 dedicated community volunteers BMOW supports 200 client companion pets Our organization collaborates with government agencies and other nonprofits to deliver our mission BMOW participates with numerous local, state and national associations to promote and advocate for senior services. We will enjoy the national spotlight as the Executive Director of BMOW becomes Chairman of the Board for the Meals On Wheels Association of America in 2010.

Founded in 1984, Meals on Wheels South Florida is a nonprofit organization providing hunger-relief programs and services to the senior community. With the dedication of community volunteers, Meals on Wheels South Florida delivers nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks that enable South Florida’s seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity. Included in their list of programs and services are home meal delivery, meals and grooming for companion pets, grocery shopping assistance, nutrition education, Claris companion tablets, and emergency meals.
