General Info

He attended the Universidad Central del Este (UCE) Facultad de Medicina where he received his medical degree. He also completed additional training in general dentistry at Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Gavilla is fluent in English and Spanish which makes him widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Patients see him for a variety of reasons, including fillings, teeth whitening, root canal, temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) pain, and bad breath/halitosis. During his consultations, Dr. Gavilla explains patients conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. He believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.
