Dr. Jon K. Guben is a vascular and interventional radiology specialist who has been a part of the North Broward Radiologists' group for over 25 years. Dr. Guben has been the Hospital Radiology Department Chief at Broward Health Medical Center since 1990. He has also been the Section Chief, Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, since 1989. He received his MD from the University of Dominica (Ross University) in Dominica, West Indies, in 1980. Dr. Guben then completed his residency for Radiology at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital affiliated in Morristown, New Jersey in 1984. Dr. Guben's fellowship was completed for Interventional/Vascular Radiology, at University Hospital/Boston City Hospital, Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1985. He received his American Board of Radiology Certification in 1985, along with a subspecialty (CAQ) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Guben has coauthored a number of publications in cardiovascular and interventional radiology including Human Peripheral Percutaneous Laser Assisted Balloon Angioplasty, Lasers in Surgical Medicine, 1986. He is a member of a number of local and national societies including the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiologists.
