Dr. Joel K. Erickson is a vascular and interventional radiology specialist, who has been a part of the North Broward Radiologists' group for over 10 years. Dr. Erickson is the Hospital Radiology Department Chief at Broward Health North. He graduated from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York, with his MD in 1996. In 2001 he successfully completed his residency with Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and then began his fellowship with Vascular and Interventional Radiology in Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2002. Dr. Erickson then received his American Board of Radiology Certification in the year 2001. He was awarded the Medical Student Teaching Award in Radiology from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2001. Dr. Erickson has coauthored a number of publications and has served at the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine as a preceptor for individual medical student radiology rotations since 2002. He is a member of a number of local and national societies including the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Erickson is also a part of several local and national associations including the American College of Radiology and the Florida Medical Association.
