Took my significant other to Casablanca Cafe for what I hoped to be a pleasant and romantic birthday dinner. Much to my surprise, when our meals were brought to the table, I found that my dinner was not at all what I had ordered. I ordered a vegetable, rice and shrimp dish and received ham, peas and shrimp over gummy fettucini which was drowned in a starchy alfredo sauce. And it was cold. When I informed the waiter, he took the dish back to the kitchen, only to return in about 5 or 6 minutes with the same, exact dish of ICE COLD FOOD which he placed back in front of me. He explained that what I had ordered was no longer on the menu so the kitchen decided to give me "this instead." It would have been nice if someone would have explained to me that what I ordered was no longer available, thus giving me the option to order something else. Needless to say, the evening and the weekend were RUINED. I've been treated better at diners. Shameful.
