Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs for more than 12,000 youths. It is a part of Boys and Girls Clubs of America, which is a national network of more than 3,500 neighborhood-based facilities. Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County offers educational and leadership skill development programs. Additionally, it provides fitness, sports, and health and life skills development programs. The organization offers meals for more than 3,000 children between the ages of ages 7 and 17 through its Keep It Simple Snack program. It also provides food and play items, as well as homework assistance, tutoring and mentoring services. The organization conducts special events, social gatherings and music shows for program participants. It also offers programs in the areas of stress management and social and life skills development.
