Established in 1982 and listed on the American Stock Exchange, The Singing Machine Company develops, and distributes a full line of consumer-oriented karaoke machines and music under The Singing Machine, MTV, Nickelodeon, Hard Rock Academy, Motown and Care Bears brand names. The first to provide karaoke systems for home entertainment in the United States, Singing Machine sells its products in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Central and South America. The company s products include the STVG-500, a karaoke television monitor machine; the SMVG-600 with KaraokeVision, a karaoke machine that incorporates a camera that hooks up to a TV and VCR to record the musical performance; the STVG-700 with built-in 7-inch television; and the Original Artist Karaoke featuring Motown original recordings. With operations in Florida, California and Hong Kong, the company reported revenues of nearly $100 million in 2003. The Singing Machine Company is headquartered in Coconut Creek, Fla.
