General Info
Shoshone Bannock Tribal Enterprises provides many services to tribal members and non-Indians with the revenues from agriculture, gaming business enterprises, tourism and other operations. The Shoshone and Bannock Indians live on the nearly 550,000-acre Fort Hall Indian Reservation in eastern Idaho. One of the tribal highlights each year is the annual Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival, which is held the second week in August. The American Bus Association has honored the four-day event as one of the Top 100 tourist attractions. Top dancers and drum groups from throughout the United States and Canada come to Fort Hall Reservation to participate in the annual event. The event includes a queen contest, parades, softball, Indian relay races and a rodeo.
