Freedom Park Elementary School is a Blue Ribbon school that has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. It is a part of the Richmond County School System, which serves nearly 33,000 students in over 55 educational institutions. Freedom Park Elementary School has a staff of approximately 45 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes instructional aides, media specialists, guidance counselors and classroom teachers. The school organizes a variety of cocurricular activities, such as book fairs, science nights, visits from authors, Christmas parades, Read Across America celebrations and Toys for Tots bingo. Freedom Park Elementary School is located in Fort Gordon, Ga.
