Founded in 1981, At-Home Professions is one of the largest distance learning educational institutions in the United States. It offers curriculum development, student servicing and graduate support services. It specializes in training people for medical transcriptions. It also supports a number of student and graduate programs. The professional medical transcription program is nationally approved by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. It is also accredited by the state of Colorado. The institute is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Colorado Private School Association and the American Association for Medical Transcription. It is located in Fort Collins, Colo.
