Founded in 1989, Linton Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grades six. It provides a range of enrichment activities, such as Junior Great Books, advanced math placement, chess club, Math Olympiad, student council, spelling bee, Odyssey of the Mind, Linton Pride Choir and peer mediators. The school also offers participation in other enrichment programs, including a science workshop and fitness club, as well as sign language, cooking and art classes. The school s parent-teacher organization sponsors special fundraisers and addresses academic, school climate and communication issues. Linton Elementary School is based in Fort Collins, Colo.
