We rented from Kevco after just moving to the area. I've been renting for 13 years (am 31) and have never missed a rental payment. I'd advise not renting from Kevco for the following: 1. They make you sign a lease longer than 12 mos (in our case, 14 1/2) to match with the academic year at Colorado State. 2. They won't let you pay month-to-month after the first year (you have to keep signing leases) 3. They won't let you out of the lease, and have fees for subletting 4. Maintenance is slooooowww. Over the summer, it took more than a month for someone to come fix our countertops. On the other end of the spectrum, we had our roof replaced and the only notice we got was the truck loading shingles onto the roof (the folks at Kevco had just forgotten to call) 5) After being great tenants for a year - in the worst economic conditions in 25+ years - they want to raise our rent 10% (~ $100) for a second year The place I rented from them had earwigs, mice, siding falling off, front door was rotted and sewage coming up the tub. They were less than helpful about any of it and when we told them we wanted out I got a 30 min earfull (yes, yelled at) about how we couldn't do that

I rented from Kevco. I really like the fact that they were pet friendly and student friendly. When we had things break, Kevco would send a repairman out that same day. I would recommend them to anyone!!
