Irish Elementary School, located in Fort Collins, Colo., and founded in 1968, is affiliated to the Poudre School District. The school offers a variety of academic and cocurricular programs to more than 300 students in grades prekindergarten through nine. It enrolls students from diverse ethnic, social and economic groups, and its cafeteria offers a variety of food items for breakfast and lunch. Irish Elementary School offers various programs and classes, such as social studies, music, art, computers, physical education, science, English and mathematics. The school also offers reading, writing, speech, library, technology and special education programs. It offers additional programs such as English as a Second Language, English language acquisition, homework extension and learning lab opportunity and various enrichment programs.
