Global Village Schools include five tuition-free k-8 Academies and nine nonprofit, year-round preschools in Colorado, each offering world language immersion instruction. The K-8 charter schools are in Aurora, Northglenn, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs and Parker. Students learn core content and a second language through English and language immersion instruction at least one-half of the school day in their choice of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, French, or German. Fee-based Global Village International Preschools are located in Aurora, Arvada, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, Lafayette, Lakewood, Littleton and Parker. Our preschools provide year round instruction and child care for 2.5 to 5 year olds through immersion in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. Fees at our nonprofit preschools are based on family income. GVA is truly a Global Village with teachers from around the world, each bringing their unique culture and language into the classroom. United by a common, internationally bench-marked curriculum spanning each language village, students are challenged to become world class thinkers, capable of engaging ideas using multiple languages and cross-cultural perspectives
