General Info
If you are unsure about your life and question how to manage difficult situations and make difficult decisions, maybe I can help. Men and women seek my support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of interpersonal issues. Couples come to me with questions related to their marriage, their children, and extended family situations. Coping with anger and learning how to express anger in a constructive manner is a common presenting problem. I have supported individuals who have long standing personality problems with success. My primary treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It is beneficial for most people. No one method best suites all presenting problems. I take an eclectic approach based on my assessment and the rapport and trust established with the client. Guided imagery and EMDR are two treatments that have been especially helpful. I have a private practice in Ft Collins. My previous experience was at a community mental health center where we operated under a medical model with a multidisciplinary team. Specialties: * Anxiety or Fears * Depression * Relationship Issues * Divorce * Domestic Abuse or Violence * Elderly Persons Disorders * Loss or Grief * OCD * Trauma and PTSD * Impulse Control Disorders Orientation: * Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) * Eclectic * Guided Imagery Modality: * Individuals * Couples
