Say Hello to Confluence: A new place to live, work, and play in downtown Fort Collins, located at the heart of what was our namesake 1865 military fort. After the soldiers departed, this area along the Poudre river became the natural intersection of urbanism, agriculture, nature, and industry; playing host to mills, beet processing, grain elevators, rail yards, and breweries. Today, our neighborhood is known as the River District, an energized mixed-use focal point at the old center of our new, dynamic city.
