Established in 1963, Bennett Elementary is an educational institution that provides a range of academic curriculums to more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in reading, writing, science, math, English, music, social studies, computer technology, physical education, language arts and Spanish. The school provides English as a Second Language, Title I and special education programs. It maintains a library media center that stocks books, periodicals and newspapers, as well as provides computers with access to the Internet and links to search engines. The school provides milk, fruit juices, pizzas, chicken nuggets, sandwiches and hot dogs for lunch. It is a part of the Poudre School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools. Bennett Elementary is located in Fort Collins, Colo.
