Mendocino Redwood Company was created in 1998. It consists of approximately 350 square miles of forestland spanning across nearly 75 northern California coastal watersheds with more than 1,500 miles of year-round streams. The company owns and manages nearly 330,000 acres of timberlands in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties in California. It invests in improving aquatics by improving stream temperatures, riparian shade, removing fish barriers and eliminating sources of upslope sediment to streams. It also invests in terrestrial wildlife habitat by improving habitat diversity, snags, protecting old growth features and habitat connectivity. Mendocino Redwood Company is headquartered in Fort Bragg, Calif.
