Located in Fort Bragg, Calif., the mission of the Mendocino County Department of Social Services is to strengthen and empower individuals and families, maximizing personal and financial self-sufficiency and deliver services in a respectful, effective and efficient manner. The Mendocino County Department of Social Services also develops a supportive and empowering staff to promote and maintain effective and productive relationships within the department and its communities, other agencies, voluntary organizations and business sectors. The department s range of services include family and children s protective services, adult protective services as well as employment and family assistance services.
