Chris at Granite Ledge Kennels has been training my dogs for more than 7 years. In that time he has produced a Master Hunter who has passed numerous hunt tests including the Master National. He is currently training 2 young labs that I hope to be taking to the Master National in 2015. Chris has impeccable work ethics and goes the extra mile to make certain I am a satisfied customer. I wouldn't even consider using another trainer.

This has been the first hunting season that I have been out since sending my young lab to Granite Ledge Kennels. It has been fun rubbing it in my friends faces how much better my dog is than the ones that they have. Thanks Chris.

I just got a started black lab and the dog is just great. The kennel owner made sure I was comfortable handling the dog to continue her training before I left. I had a great experience with this kennel and would definitely get another dog from there as well as take my dog back there for training.

I wish I did not have to rate any stars. Please do not bring your dog to this kennel. This trainer does not treat the dogs well at all.

I had a very positive experience. I got a started lab from Chris and am very pleased with the dog. The lab was very well trained and Chris took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my decision and to go over how to work with the dog and continue her training when I take her out hunting.

Very negative experience for my family and our British Lab. Chris was late to the appointment, and needed to be called to be reminded. He was screaming at my parents for going past his gate, and did not calm down for 5 minutes. He also forced them to sign a statement that they would not voice any opinion on his kennels, under the condition that our Lab did not stay as long as Chris needed. (it was an extra week past the usual 4 wks) The dogs were only trained 1-2 hours per day, with no training on weekends. Dog was not very friendly upon its return home.
