Established in 1964, Birchwood Health Care Center is a residential health care facility. It provides medication monitoring, rehabilitation and hospice care to individuals suffering from chronic illness and mental disabilities. The center offers therapeutic, psychiatric, optical, dental and podiatry services. It also offers nutrition and dietary counseling to its residents. The center provides assisted living programs that include assistance in personal care, housekeeping, laundry, transportation and meal preparation. In addition, it organizes a variety of activities that include movie screening, book reading, seminars, workshops, cooking, music and outdoor visits.
