Operational for more than 45 years, Krysilis is one of the leading human service agencies in the United States. A nonprofit organization, it serves more than 5,000 children, teenagers and families annually. Based in Forest City, the agency has branch locations in Belmond, Clarion, Eagle Grove and Lake Mills, Iowa. Krysilis offers a wide variety of services, such as clinical assessments, psychiatric services, individual and group counseling, psychotherapy programs, medical evaluations and diagnosis, case management, crisis intervention and stabilization solutions, and care coordination. The agency also offers residential services, supported group living, psychosocial rehabilitation programs, 24-hour emergency prescreening and vocational services, job coaching, and placement opportunities. In addition, it provides day habilitation, respite, school transition and value-added services.
