Based in Fombell, Pa., VEKA Inc. manufactures profiles for residential and commercial window and door systems for new construction and replacement applications. Founded in 1967 as Vekaplast, it initially produced roller shutters out of a 15,000-square-foot rented facility. VEKA Inc. s operations have grown to include ten other sister facilities in eight countries on three continents. The facilities at the company are equipped with wire Electric discharge machining (EDM) technology, computer numerical control (CNC) milling and robotics, all dedicated to fabricating new construction dies, calibration systems and templates.
