- Real Estate LitigationMr. Lindsay began his career in private practice at the law firm Mayall, Hurley, Knutsen, Smith & Green in Stockton, California. While at Mayall, he practiced in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and complex civil litigation. Mr. Lindsay later joined the Law Office of Joseph Michael Sette in Dublin, California, a firm which almost exclusively engaged in the litigation and trial of insurance-related matters. Mr. Lindsay had worked previously with Mr. Sette at the Mayall firm. Within his first three years of practice, Mr. Lindsay had successfully tried several cases and was peer reviewed and rated through Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Lindsay subsequently moved to Modesto, California, and worked at Damrell, Nelson, Schrimp, Pallios, Pacher & Silva, where he handled complex civil litigation matters and started a successful family law practice. Mr. Lindsay left the Damrell firm along with Gene Stonebarger at the end of 2003 and formed Lindsay & Stonebarger in Sacramento. While with Lindsay & Stonebarger, Mr. Lindsay continued his successful insurance defense and family law practices and also began substantially concentrating on consumer class action work. Specifically, Lindsay & Stonebarger developed a highly successful practice litigating numerous claims relating to California's Song-Beverly Credit Card Act. Mr. Lindsay formed Lindsay Law Corporation in 2010 and continued his consumer class action practice as well as handling other complex business litigation matters. In addition, Mr. Lindsay obtained a California Department of Real Estate broker license in 2013 and, since that time, has concentrated his efforts on real estate matters including syndication, brokerage and litigation.
