      Okefenokee Pastimes is a Privately Owned campground directly across from the Main Entrance to the Okefenokee Swamp in Folkston, GA. We offer cabins, RV spots and Tent areas. We offer Active, retired, Military, EMS, Police & fire Discounts. We are a Passport America (50% off up to 3 night stays) and Good Sam Member Park (we offer the Good Sam 10% discount and match it for a total 20% discount). We also sell both memberships so if you are not a member ask how we can save you up to 50% off your first 3 night stay, or how you can save 20% per night per stay, they will more than pay for themselves on just your first stay. We are now renting quality canoes and kayaks for the St. Mary's river, offering guided paddle or power boat tours and overnight tours on the St Mary's (based on availability). We are also offering shuttle to and from JAX airport, and all area boat launches (other than Suwanee Canal, we only offer shuttle to and from Okefenokee Adventures for their tours, we do not allow our equipment to be used in the Main entrance of the Okefenokee). We have a fully stocked camping store with most anything you could need for your camping or tour adventure, ice, ice cream, frozen foods, drinks and other assorted convenience items. We have a nicely appointed rec-room/meeting room where you can play board games, cards, use our excersize/weight machines, watch videos during hot or inclement weather or just sit and talk. We have a picnic area on the peninsula to the pond with picnic tables, charcoal grills and fish feeding station, this area doubles as star gazing area at night with no un-natural light interference. We have horse shoes, badminton, connect 4 and croquet (childs swing/play house and mini golf coming soon), free wi-fi for all guests so you can stay connected or watch videos. Our Tent sites are some of the best in the area and give you the feel of tenting in the wilderness yet are close to the bath house and have wi-fi and we have a large group tenting area for up to 45 people. Our Bathroom/shower house is as most who visit and use say "the nicest they have ever seen". As you can see we have a lot going on here and we do it well.
