Dr Walker is an amazingly compassionate vet. I had a very sick cat who was not getting better with his meds. I called the clinic for Dr Walker and said I was rushing in as an emergency. Sadly my cat died on the way. Dr Walker was waiting for me and took my cat and then asked if the staff had been ready for me when I got there(which they were). He knows his patients and is always asking how they are. He is also familiar with CH which is a condition 2 of my cats have. He is my vet of choice at the clinic! A wonderful vet and a super nice person.

Called at 1 a.m. on a Saturday night. Apparently woke him up because he got really sassy with me and was not happy being woken up even though he was apparently the emergency vet on call for TWO vets in Foley. My girlfriend was calling another vet and ended up getting directed to Doctor Walker who told her he "had an effing job", he did not say effing, and he would see the damn cat but it would be $150. I work nights and weekends mostly which is why I was calling an emergency number in the first place and was prepared to pay the cost for it. My advice to Doctor Walker is to not be on the call list for multiple vets' emergency numbers if he doesn't like being awakened for emergencies. Most unprofessional person I've dealt with in the veterinary field.
