Winnie is a Certified Hand Therapist with specialties in Hand Therapy, Ergonomics and Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE). Her hometown is Calgary, Alberta Canada where she trained in OT at the University of Alberta. She then moved to New York City for 21 years where she acquired her Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) certification and MBA at New York University. After being a Clinical Specialist of Hand Therapy in NYU Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation for 10 years (1999 's2009), she then moved on to develop technology for healthcare. Collaborating with tech developers in Silicon Valley, Johns Hopkins University, NYU, Columbia, and Washington University. Since 2011, Winnie has been an adjunct professor of upper extremity orthopedics at Long Island University. In her spare time, Winnie loves to travel, cook, try new restaurants, skiing and hiking, including summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro and all the highest peaks on the east coast.
