Hampered by language problems and cultural differences, many Korean residents need information and assistance in alleviating problems they face daily. The Korean Channel's daily newscasts fulfill these needs. These daily newscasts include "live" satellite news stories directly from Korea as well as highly informative local newscasts. The Korean Channel is a community-minded channel. The mission of our channel is to entertain, educate and inform the Korean-American public and future generations. TKCTV works hand-in-hand with local community agencies such as The Greater New York Korean Association and New Jersey's Korean Association in addressing immigration and local community issues. Moreover, there are interviews and local community and business programs used to provide forums for local community leaders and the public to address their opinions and advice in an educated and non-biased manner.
