John Bowne High School is a public school that operates a variety of academic departments, such as agriculture, business and technology education, English, mathematics, science, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, the school conducts classes in English as a Second Language, special education, foreign languages, and art and music. John Bowne High School provides meal, medical and bus transportation services to the students. Its facilities include a library media center, agriculture store, computer laboratory, sports field, cafeteria, gymnasium, and art and music room. The school has various service groups, athletic teams, clubs, performance groups and a student union. John Bowne High School teaches students in grades 9 through 12 and is located in Flushing, N.Y.
