- Laser ResurfacingAt your consult, we will examine your skin and the treatment area to determine whether you are a good candidate for laser resurfacing. Those on certain medications or using certain topical creams should alert their doctor before undergoing the procedure.
- DermabrasionMicrodermabrasion, also known as a “power peel,” is a skin resurfacing procedure. Microdermabrasion can treat mild acne scars, age spots, fine lines, dull skin, and brown spots. - Skin CancerVivian S. Yee, M.D., FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist committed to helping her patients enjoy healthy radiant skin. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Queens, Dr. Yee graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and went on to attend the combined B.S./M.D. program at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. There she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was named Valedictorian of her class. She was further recognized by USA Today to be one of the top 20 students in the nation and was named onto the All-USA College Academic First Team. Dr. Yee went on to obtain her M.D. degree from the Stony Brook School of Medicine where she was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to do research in Sydney, Australia. There, she spent one year doing research and clinical work at the largest melanoma treatment center in the world at the Sydney Melanoma Unit. Her research there resulted in multiple publications and a Young Investigator’s Award to speak at the 3rd International Sentinel Node Congress in Yokohama, Japan. Dr. Yee went on to do further research on skin cancer at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York which resulted in further contributions to the medical literature.
- DermatologyAfter her training, Dr. Huang returned to New York and held a position as Clinical Assistant Attending at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She also had a faculty position as Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Cornell University Medical Center. She is a voluntary, community faculty at Elmhurst Hospital Center and she currently holds academic appointments at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and SUNY Stony Brook, School of Medicine.
