Flushing High School, founded in 1961, is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. Located in Flushing, Mich., the school has an enrollment of more than 1,400 students and is spread over an area of more than 150,000 square feet. The school also has a modern physics lab and an auditorium. The institution is affiliated with the Flushing Community Schools. The school district covers 65 square miles and has a student population of more than 4,000 students studying in grades kindergarten through 12. The schools operated by the school district offer a number of fine arts, practical arts, and citizenship and community service activities. Additionally, the schools offer more than 20 different sports for students.
