When I first started seeing Dr. Horney I liked him. He was quick and efficient. After seeing him for a few years I became very sick. I was in his office every couple of weeks with complaints and pain. I never asked for pain medication and even refused it a few times, as I don't take narcotics. I'm not sure if he just got tired of seeing me or was frustrated that he couldn't figure out what my problem was, but the last few times I saw him he was very rude and I was made to feel that he thought I was lying about my problems. I was also rudely confronted by one of the front office staff, in front of other, that I had a very high outstanding bill ($70-one visit that insurance hadn't pd. yet) When I brought my bill in to prove I didn't owe the $300 she was saying, I never got an apology for being embarassed in front of everyone in the office and waiting room. I ended up in the hospital because I felt I couldn't go there again because of the rudeness and ineptitude.
