Soterra LLC, a subsidiary of Greif Inc., is a land management company that provides wildlife, recreational land use and forestry management services. Its wildlife services include Soterra leases, avian management and native habitat management. The company also deals in buying and selling of land in the southeastern United States. This land base consists of actively harvested and regenerated timber properties and properties for recreation, investment and development. Timber appraisals, forest management plans, boundary line maintenance, and regeneration and silvicultural prescriptions constitute its forest management services. SFI Inc., an independent nonprofit organization, has awarded Soterra LLC with a Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certification.
