until I could see what the future holds for me. She immediately said yes that she could help me and the deposit would be left. So about two weeks later I went to the office again while my husband was taking the boat out, and when I talked to her the story had changed and she told me that when we talked about it before she had said she had to get an approval for what we agreed on and it wasn't approved so therefore I was going to lose my deposit. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and when I explained to him what she had told me, he carelessly responded that it didn't matter what she had told me, the only thing that mattered was what was on the contract. To sum this up, they tell you what you want to hear but do the opposite when it comes to confrontation. Many companys with contracts will work with the client if they really want to help. If they aren't willing to help from the beginning they should tell the customer rather than tell them lies.
I just want everyone to know that not everything they promise at the beginning with a big smile on their face, they acomplish. But when it comes to security I have no complaints. In the summer of 2010 I searched around for marinas, when I went to Hide Away I talked to the dock master and I specifically told her that my decison was based on if I could use the ramp they have for my jetski if I was a member. She said there was no problem with that and gave me the papers to sign. A few weeks later they told me that I have to call every time to use the ramp, then again a few weeks later they told me that I could not use it on holidays or weekends, and finally they ended up telling me I could not use it at all. A few weeks ago I went to the office and explained to the dock master that I'm having financial problems and that there's a possibility I will be moving out of GA and if they could help me in any way by letting me take my boat out of the water for a few months and leaving the deposit
