General Info

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I like to work as a team with patients to identify goals upfront and use my expertise in determining which technique will best meet those goals. I understand that seeking therapy is not an easy decision, and I maintain a personable, non-judgmental atmosphere while digging in with my patients to give them the tools they need to improve their lives and overall emotional well-being. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but am well-versed in other techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused, Family/Marital, Family Systems, Gottman Method, Interpersonal, Mind-Fullness-Based, and Solutions Focused Brief. With over 14 years in social work, I have provided services to children as young as four years old, the elderly, individuals, couples, and families. I have experience providing family services to at-risk families; I am able to build on the strengths of families in my care to resolve issues and preserve the family. I see working in therapy as my calling. I have been compelled to help others from a young age since witnessing the struggles within my own family, of my friends, and in my community. I saw, first-hand, the difference in lives that professional therapists made and I wanted to make the same difference.
