The company was formed to provide the pharmaceutical industry with a low-cost alternative for bringing new drugs to market rapidly. IRIX Pharmaceuticals operates three sites for process research and development and clinical and commercial cGMP production of APIs. Process research and development and early stage clinical supply for APIs is based in Florence, S.C., and late-stage clinical supply and commercial production is located at the company's facility in Greenville, S.C. The company supports new drug development in all functions necessary to bring a pharmaceutical candidate from discovery to market.
