Established in 1954, Crane Composites, a subsidiary of Crane, is one of the leading providers of fiber-reinforced composite materials in the world. Formerly known as Kemlite Company, it manufactures a range of metal, wall and ceiling, truck body and trailer, recreational vehicle, and film and fanrication products. The company offers products from several brands, such as Glasbord, Noble, Filon, Qualis and Duratuf. In addition, Crane Composites provides metal products for metal roof and wall systems, as well as refineries, pulp and paper mills, mining operations and wastewater facilities. It also designs panels for cooling tower casings and louvers. The company provides translucent roof, scuffplate, liner, subpan and exterior panels for the transportation industries.
