The success of MHBS students in every facet of their lives speaks volumes for the quality of the education received: the highest test scores in the area and among the highest in the state, an average of two-thirds of each graduating class earning college scholarships, being accepted into the nation's leading universities, earning top honors in every academic competition and later success in college and vocational believes that means we encourage every student to be the best he/she can be in every area of life. REGIONAL ACCREDITATION-Mars Hill Bible College opened its doors in the fall of 1947 and earned immediate accreditation from the Alabama State Department of Education. It maintained that accreditation until the state department stopped the practice of accrediting schools. Since 1971, the school has been fully accredited by the Southern Associa tion of Colleges and Schools (SACS), now known as AdvancED.
