Sorensen Gross Construction Services, also known as SGCS, was founded in 2008 with the merger of SG Construction Services and Sorensen Gross Construction Company. Founded in 1925, the company provides a variety of preconstruction services, including planning, estimating and contract services to clients throughout the United States. It offers construction management and consulting services, as well as provides on-site construction supervision solutions. Sorensen Gross Construction Services also provides project quality control and status reports. The company has constructed Bishop International Airport, the Flint Institute of Arts, Whiting Auditorium, Mott Community College and McLaren Hospital. It employs a staff of project managers, estimators and planners.
