My grandson attended Happy Elephant for a short period of time. I thought it was a great place at first until things began to occur. My grandchild was under 2 yrs. of age at the time when he figured out how to open the exit door to outside and escaped almost into Linden Rd. Since that has occured they installed alarms on the doors. My grandchild got used to going there and would only cry a certain lady approached him in the mornings, as he was dropped off. He wouldn't cry any other time, just when that one lady was there. I found that to be a red flag. My grandson also had many bruises on him that could not be explained when asked about them. On the days we popped in unannounced, my grandson would just be standing around, looking sad and bored. Also, they have a monitor, but the office lady said they never use it, I thought that was deceptive because when we enrolled him in that day care center, we thought the workers and children were monitored more closely
