I hired great lakes last season, after having trugreen for two years. They assured me that it would take more than one or two treatments to control my weeds. I have never been happier with the results, and they are upgrading there products this year and cant wait to see the results.

I hired Great Lakes Landcare in 2010 to fertilize my lawn and take care of the weeds. I originally was contacted by a sales person by phone, and was told that Great Lakes Landcare would easily be able to take care of my weed problem. On the first application, they put down a fertilizer without spraying the weeds. Not very smart since all the treatment did was make my weeds grow faster! On the second treatment, they did the same thing again so I called the office. Nobody answered the phone so I left a message. After leaving 5 messages, I finally got a call back assuring me that they would come back out and treat for weeds. This was in late May 2010. They never came out. As a matter of fact, the next visit they charged me! I watched the guy run across my lawn spraying liquid all over the place. 2 weeks later, my entire lawn was dead! I called to cancel the service, and they still kept coming out. Now, they won't stop calling me. Horrible service, Horrible results. DONT USE THIS COMPANY
