The Whale Foundation provides confidential access to mental and physical health care professionals. Based in Flagstaff, Ariz., it also offers a range of support services designed to restore and promote the well being of the 'Grand Canyon River Guiding Community'. The foundation provides river guides with career broadening opportunities through information, networking and career counseling. Additionally, it offers education and referral services to the professional river guide community in order to assist these individuals in planning for their own retirement and for their insurance needs.
