Denise Gomolak, FNPC, is a family nurse practitioner with Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group Flagstaff. Denise's expertise is in managing chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and asthma. She began practicing nursing in 1992. Denise's philosophy of health and wellness is holistic We can only treat chronic physical symptoms when we consider the mental and spiritual state of an individual. She approaches healthcare from a health illness continuum where chronic illness can be used as an instrument of transformation, or help one become more of oneself, as opposed to viewing health as merely the absence of disease.
