- Amenities
- GEOTILL goal to provide a comprehensive range of quality geotechnical and construction-related testing services compatible with the needs of its clients, on time, and at a competitive rate.
- Associations
- Geotill can provide eleven (11) drill rigs to serve the project needs in an effective and timely manner. The drill fleet includes truck, skid and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) mounted units, including rubber-tire and track-mounted units, along with an assortment of supporting equipment. The drill rigs are equipped with automatic Standard Penetration Test (SPT) hammers. With the skid-mounted unit, our personnel are able to reach difficult access locations such as side slopes and low headroom conditions. Our experienced drill crews perform a full range of services for both geotechnical and environmental drilling applications and has extensive experience with hollow-stem and mud-rotary overburden soil drilling, rock coring, and downhole in-situ testing. Additionally, our services include groundwater monitoring well, piezometer and slope indicator casing installation. Moreover, our field personnel are OSHA health and safety trained and most are licensed by the state of Indiana as well drillers.

They include engineering analyses and design recommendations for shallow (spread footings and mat foundations) and deep (auger-cast, drilled pier, driven piles, aggregate columns, stone columns) foundation systems, and earth retention systems including drilled pier, sheetpile walls, slurry walls, braced excavations, segmental, soldier pile, soil nail, MSE and modular block walls, large block walls and stone gravity retaining walls. Our geotechnical personnel are also experienced with site development including site grading, construction of engineered fills and retention systems, and infrastructure improvements, including water and sewer lines. GEOTILL maintains a state-of-the-art fully automated geotechnical-testing laboratory with services ranging from index testing to advanced strength and permeability testing. The Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Inspection Services Departments of Geotill maintain an active program for quality control. This program satisfies the requirements of the Indiana Department of Transportation and AASHTO Material Reference Laboratory (AMRL). In order to continue to enhance our laboratory capabilities, Geotill participate in the Reference Laboratory Sample Proficiency Program for (AMRL).
