Dr. Young-Henley was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, to parents who served as missionaries in Africa. She grew up spending lots of time in hospitals visiting her ill mother and was inspired to become a doctor so she could make a difference in the lives of others. S Interacting with patients and observing how evidence-based medicine improves chronic conditions are Dr. Young-Henley's favorite aspects of serving as a medical doctor.
