- Sexual HarassmentOn several occasions over the past decade, the Minnesota State Bar Association has selected Josh to teach both on-line and in-person courses for CLE (continuing legal education) credits to other lawyers throughout the state, a recognition that he truly is an expert in the field. For example, in 2018, he taught an online course titled Sexual Harassment, Offensive Behavior and Discrimination in the Workplace. He has also given workplace investigation presentations to public and private entities throughout Minnesota and has taught college courses on the subject for HR renewal credits.
- Real Estate LitigationRob is a Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Less than two percent of Minnesota attorneys have received this certification. Rob has been a certified specialist since 1990, and has extensive experience and training in real estate law. Steve is a trustee and past board chair of Lake Region Healthcare Corporation and director, general counsel, and past president of Communicating for America, Inc., a non-profit rural advocacy group which hosts the largest international agricultural exchange program in the country. Steve is past president of the Otter Tail County Historical Society and the Otter Tail County Bar Association. He is an Eagle Scout and is involved in Boy Scouts (where he currently serves as District Finance Chair), and has served on the Fergus Area College Foundation board, the Salvation Army community board, the regional board of KCCM-Minnesota Public Radio and the board of Pioneer Public TV. He is also a trustee of the Roger and Agnes Dell Charitable Trust and is chair of Fergus Falls Downtown Council, Inc. Steve rides annually in Minnesota's MS150 bike ride.
